We would like to inform you about the risk assessment of the delivery situation on the part of Sefar, regarding the Corona Virus:
• Sefar does not supply any articles fabricated in China to customers outside of China.
• Until further notice, Sefar has proactively issued a travel ban from and to China for all Sefar employees.
• Being a fully integrated supplier, Sefar controls and ensures the supply chain for the manufacturing of our technical fabrics, from yarn production to the shipping of the finished goods. The entire manufacturing chain takes place outside of China.
• The scope and duration of the measures initiated by the Chinese government, cannot currently be estimated by Sefar. It should however have a minimal effect on deliveries outside of China.
• Furthermore, please be informed that Sefar does not manufacture or trade in “Face Masks”. In the event you may have offers for such face masks from Turkey, kindly be aware that our affiliate company in Turkey operates under the name “Sefar Filtrasyon San. ve. Tic. Ltd. Sti.” only.
Sefar is a leader in the design, production and sales of chamber and membrane cloths for filter press machines, also called horizontal, mix pack or vertical plate pressure filters.

For years, Sefar has gained knowledge and skills through many studies done internally in our specialized and well-equipped laboratory to reproduce filtration and the customer’s process. This approach has laid the foundation for the creation of media for filter press cloths with consideration for customer’s needs.

Sefar proposes solutions to cope with all customer plate design, with ready-made and adapted cloths (single, double or overhang), which match perfectly to the plates and with options such as:
Metallic or US Eyelets, US eyelets are food grade and resistant to chemical degradation and corrosion.
Different types of barrels and rubbernecks, from the classic multifilament fabric to different waterproof options, able to resist all chemical or abrasion environments.
Edge sealing done through coating or reinforcement to avoid leakage, with a range of food grade certified coatings.
Support or backing cloth to increase drainage and lifetime of the filter cloth.
Sefar's filter cloths are adapted to the different needs of the customers, like plate dimension, cake weight, particle retention or productivity. As a result, Sefar has developed a wide range of standard and specific designs, making up options for fixations, barrel and rubber neck, or sealing.

A complete range of fabrics, including monofilament (SEFAR TETEX MONO), multifilament (SEFAR TETEX MULTI), mixed mono-multifilament, mixed multifilament-staple fibres, and other innovative products, are especially dedicated to filter press machines. Our range is able to cover all chemical requirements, with polymers such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyamide (PA, Nylon, Rilsan, PA6-6, PA 6, PA 6-10, PA11, PA12), Polyester (PET) or PBT, and particle retention with optimum flow rate, moisture content, and cake washing properties.
